Hi! I’m Leslie, a Reiki Master Teacher, who has a passion for helping others. I was certified in Reiki in 2010 after my diagnosis of Lyme disease. What started out as my worst nightmare turned out to be an extraordinary gift that began my love affair with essential oils, all things natural, and Mind-Body-Spirit healing.
It was then that I discovered healing is more than killing the “bad bugs”, that in order to heal, you must not only look at the physical, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your life as well. It is not about a quick fix or miracle cure for your physical ailments, it’s treating pain points on the inside as well as the outside. Approaching healing in this fashion teaches you how to put the pieces of this puzzle, that we call life, together in such a way to be empowered to take charge of not only your health, but your life to become your most authentic badass self.
My first exposure to Young Living Essential Oils was during my bout with Lyme disease. A friend introduced me to Thieves oil. I instantly fell in love with its physical healing properties, and used it throughout my illness. I then discovered a multitude of other Young Living oils, like lavender, frankincense, lemon, peppermint(some of my favorites) and their many physical benefits. It wasn’t until a little later that I discovered essential oils can also be used to support emotional healing. This, along with Young Living’s Seed to Seal promise, began my obsession with essential oils. They fit perfectly with my philosophy that true healing occurs on both the physical and emotional levels.
